 Abstract:  This collection of photographs, journals, business records, moving images, and interviews documents the career of Suzanne (Sue) Bennett, an internationally recognized editorial and commercial photographer. Bennett was a longtime resident of Flagstaff who captured the land and people of the American Southwest. She also traveled internationally documenting the Tarahumara people of Mexico’s Sierra Madre and shooting for numerous international ad campaigns. In addition to her images, she kept detailed business documentation, including travel arrangements and research for her shoots.

 Abstract:  The Lauzon family collection consists of a variety of historic documents and photographs (see series 10 for a description of the photograph component) that describe and depict the family's early life in northern Arizona, primarily at the Grand Canyon, from the early 1900s into the 1980s. The papers were created primarily by Hubert "Bert" Lauzon. They describe his work as rancher, miner, tourist guide, caretaker for the Bright Angel Trail and Grand Canyon National Park Ranger. The collection includes material about the Lauzon Family and their continued interest in mining and ranching after Bert's death in 1951. This later material was created by Bert's son, Hubert F. Lauzon.
